Hello and welcome! My name is Mrs. Tench, and I am excited to begin my fifth year of teaching. For the past four years, I have had the joy of teaching first grade, where I developed a passion for creating engaging, student-centered learning experiences and building strong relationships with my students and their families.

This year marks an exciting new adventure as I make the transition to fifth grade! I am looking forward to helping students grow academically, become more independent learners, and prepare for the challenges and opportunities that middle school will bring. I graduated from Anderson University in 2020 with my bachelors degree in elementary education/early childhood. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my husband Ethan, traveling, and reading a good book! I am so excited to have your child this year for fifth grade! I can’t wait to work alongside you and your student to make sure they have the most memorable learning experience.
