About Me

Hello! I am Ms. Rocha and I am teaching  Geometry CP this year!  This is going to be my seventh year as a teacher and my fifth year at Berea High School.  I graduated from Converse College in 2017 and fun fact I graduated from Berea High School in 2013! I am a returning bulldog and am happy to be working at this school.  As a former student I know how much the students want to succeed and that is why I wanted to come back to this school.  Another fun fact: I am bilingual I speak English and Spanish. Knowing the demographics I understand that many students wish they had someone they could communicate with when language is a barrier.  I hope to provide a pathway of communication to all students, but especially to my students in math.  Math is already a language in itself so being able to bridge one language barrier will make a huge difference! 

A little bit about me, I was born in Dallas, Texas, but I consider Greenville my home since I grew up here.  I have 2 brothers, which both went to Berea as well.  I also, have to adorable Pomeranian, a boy, his name is Zorro and he's 17 years old.  The girls name is Bella and she is 11 years old. I love hiking , swimming and playing sports but I have a special love for soccer. I love to travel and hope to visit many places next year.
