Hi! I am so glad you are here! My name is MacKenzie Rice (she/her/hers) and this is my 4th year teaching, and my second year at Lakeview!

I am from Asheville, North Carolina. I have a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology in addition to both a North Carolina and a South Carolina K-6 Teaching License. I live with my husband and we are expecting our first child together this December. 

In my free time, I love exploring Greenville and the surrounding area. I love to read, go to concerts, cook, enjoy local hockey games, and hang out with our 3 cats. 

A huge part of my practice is focusing on developing social-emotional skills and a positive classroom culture so that students are able to be their best and most authentic selves which allows them to make gains in their content! We are a team and I am here to support not only your scholar but also your family. Please reach out if you need anything!

¡Hola! ¡Estoy muy feliz de que estes aqui! ¡Mi nombre es MacKenzie Rice (ella/ella/ella) y este es mi cuarto año como maestra y mi segundo año en Lakeview! 

Soy de Asheville, Carolina del Norte. Tengo una Licenciatura en Psicología además de una Licencia de Enseñanza K-6 de Carolina del Norte y Carolina del Sur. Vivo con mi marido 

 y estamos esperando nuestro primer hijo juntos este diciembre.

En mi tiempo libre, me encanta explorar Greenville y sus alrededores. Me encanta leer, ir a conciertos, cocinar, disfrutar de los juegos de hockey locales y pasar el rato con nuestros 3 gatos.

¡Una gran parte de mi práctica se centra en desarrollar habilidades socioemocionales y una cultura positiva en el aula para que los estudiantes puedan ser lo mejor y más auténticos que sean, lo que les permite obtener ganancias en su contenido!
