Meet Your Teachers

I am Ms. Poynter! This will be my 7th year teaching. I have taught kindergarten, special education pre-k, and first grade. This will be my 4th year at Greenbrier. I grew up in Greenville, where I attended Eastside High School. Once I graduated, I attended Clemson University where I received my Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood Education. I have a Golden Doodle named Beau and he is 5 years old! 

I’m entering my fifth year as a kindergarten paraprofessional and currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in early childhood education. I’m married and a proud mom of two daughters who also attend Greenbrier, and a sweet pup named Leo. I’m passionate about helping young children learn and grow.
