About Me

Hi!  I am so excited to be a Resource teacher  and look forward to working with you to help your child be successful. I am a South Carolina native and grew up in Barnwell, SC.  I went to Clemson University and earned a B.S.  degree in Economics.  Over time, I discovered that my favorite thing in the world is helping kids shine! I love learning myself, and I get so much joy from helping students find that “aha!” moment too. This is my fifth year as a Special Education Resource teacher and my seventh year in Special Education overall—and I’m excited for every day with my students!"

When I’m not teaching, you can usually find me cooking, reading, hiking, listening to live music, or exploring dog-friendly spots around town with my sheepadoodle, Lili.
