Modern World History

New Tech World Literature is a course that encompasses Modern World History from the Renaissance through the Cold War. This course is paired with English II which is an EOC course that will include reading and writing with claims and evidence. The EOC will count for 20% of the entire course grade for English II. A final exam will be given for the Modern World History component and count 20% of the second semester grade. Students will be expected to collaboratively interact with group members, keep up with social contracts, and create rich final products that display their knowledge and thinking skills on various concepts.
