Meet Mrs. BISHOP

Hi! My name is Hannah Bishop, and I am so excited to be your child's teacher this year. This will be my fifth year of teaching, and my third year teaching 1st grade at Fork Shoals. Before this, I taught Kindergarten at a school in Anderson, SC. My heart is for the littles, and I cannot wait to begin this year with sweet first graders. Prior to teaching, I received my Bachelor's degree from Anderson University in Early Childhood Education. During my first two years of teaching, I worked towards a Master's in Literacy. Literacy is a passion of mine, and I love getting to learn more on how to help these kiddos learn to read! This past school year, I decided to get a second masters in Curriculum and Instruction. This has helped me better instruct my students in the classroom. 

When I am not teaching, I love spending my time with friends and family. I love traveling, camping, hiking, gardening, baking, serving at my church, and just being around people!

It is a true joy to get to teach at Fork Shoals. I cannot wait for this class to become a family. I am here to love on and support your sweet babies as much as I can. Feel free to reach out to me for whatever you need! I am here for you guys!
