Welcome to first grade! I’m so excited to be your child’s teacher this year! First grade is such a big year of growth, and I look forward to being part of your child’s journey as they build confidence, curiosity, and a love of learning.

This is my sixth year teaching, and I’ve had the joy of teaching both first and second grade. I’m originally from Black Mountain, NC, and moved to Greenville after graduating from Presbyterian College with a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education.

In our classroom, I value creating a learning environment where we build strong relationships, support one another, and celebrate each other’s growth. I believe that when students feel safe, connected, and encouraged, they thrive—both academically and personally.

When I’m not teaching, I enjoy reading, going on walks, and spending time with my family and friends.
