Hello there! I am Kim Kelly, a proud ELA teacher here at Bonds Middle School Alternative Program!
Growing up, I always knew that teaching was what I was called to do as an adult. I love to watch the minds of children explore. It is always fun to watch children have their "lightbulb" moments when something finally "clicks".
I earned my BS from The University of South Carolina. I also attended Furman where I acquired a Masters in Middle Level Language Arts. A little over eleven years ago, I welcomed my son, McZavion, into my life. McZavion was one of my students at Greer Middle. I have a nephew, Chase. Chase is in the 11th grade at Greer High. I have two precious grandsons, Macxton and A'Zavion. Macxton is eleven months old and A'Zavion is 6 months old.
Outside of school, sports and grandchildren basically consume my life. Chase plays baseball for Greer High. Go Jackets!
I believe that building relationships is the key to being successful. I pride myself on trying to develop a relationship with all of my students. I have an open door policy for anyone!
I look forward to helping your child grow and learn about their dreams for the future! As always, I am here to be your partner in education, so please feel free to reach out at any time!
