A little bit about me:

Hello! My name is Rachel Garrett and this is my sixth year teaching at Fountain Inn. I could not possibly be more excited for all the learning, loving, and growing that we are going to get to do as a class.

I was born and raised right here in the upstate. I am a product of Greenville county schools so it is an honor to be able to give back to the community that raised me. I was homeschooled through elementary school and I attended Riverside Middle School and Mauldin High School. 

I went to the College of Charleston and received my Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education in May of 2020 as a South Carolina Teaching Fellow.

My husband and I welcomed our first child, a daughter, in April of 2026. Her name is Ivy Jane and she is truly the light of our lives.

Color: any pastel or neutral color

Food/restaurant: Tropical Grille or Chick-Fil-A

Drink: Cherry or regular Coke and coffee with lots of creamer (preferably Starbucks)
