My name is Lilian Hart, and I am thrilled to teach second grade at Stone after student-teaching here AND attending Stone as a student!
It has always been my dream to become an impactful educator like the teachers I was so blessed to have at Stone... and now I get to teach with so many of my former teachers and mentors!
Teaching has always been a passion and dream of mine, and after graduating from Anderson University in December 2021, I decided to move to Charleston County to teach first grade from January to June 2022.
Now, I am so excited to begin my fourth year at a school that feels like home. Stone is home because Stone is a family, and I am thankful that your student is part of our class family this year! Second Grade is the BEST, and I cannot wait for all the amazing things ahead.
I studied Elementary Education with an Add-On in Early Childhood Education at Anderson University. I also have a masters in Curriculum and Instruction from Western Governors University.
I'm the oldest of four and best friends with my siblings. Can you tell which sister I am?😄
Traveling
In my free time I love to visit new places!
When I am not learning alongside my amazing students, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. You may find me walking to downtown Greenville for coffee and M. Judson Books, biking along the Swamp Rabbit Trail, or playing pickleball.
The second grade team works together to provide weekly communication via our Newsletter and extra resources via The Second Grade Buzz!
We READ READ READ!
We go on amazing field trips!
We learn about having a growth mindset and trying new things... like telling time and writing diaries!
Please email me at Lhart@greenville.k12.sc.us or call my classroom phone before or after school at (864) 355-8425.
Appointments can be made during my planning period (9:05-9:50am) or after school with 24 hour notice. Thanks!
