My name is Madison Echols (formerly Clardy) and I am  teaching Civics and Government/Economics at Greenville High this year. 

I just graduated from Clemson University last May - with a Bachelors in Secondary Education and History, GO TIGERS! With that being said, this is going to be my SECOND year of teaching, GO RAIDERS!

My overarching goal as an educator is to make an impact on students lives. I hope to encourage both intellectual and personal growth in my classroom - providing a comfortable learning environment that promotes advancement. Social studies requires much more than surface level learning, that is why my students will engage in a variety of instructional strategies that further critical thinking. 

I am originally from Travelers Rest, and am passionate about serving the Greenville community as an educator. Outside of the classroom, I enjoy traveling, exercising, shopping, cheering on the Tigers in Death Valley, playing with my chocolate lab Maple, and trying out new restaurants with friends and family. Oh... and who doesn't love coffee?
