I am so excited to be your teacher this year! This is my fifth year teaching middle school, and my first year at Beck.  I got my Bachelor's degree from Auburn University in Human Development and Family Studies with a minor in Non-Profit and Philanthropy.  While I was going to school, I substitute taught and fell in love with education so I went back to get my Master's degree.  I graduated with my Master's degree in Secondary English Education from the University of West Alabama.

In my spare time, my favorite thing to do is simply hang out with my friends and family. I also love reading, being outside, traveling (specifically road trips), and watching movies. 

I cannot wait for this year and to learn all the wonderful things that make each of you who you are.
