In my classroom, I have two classroom management techniques.

Students may earn warm fuzzies by following classroom rules and going above a beyond. Each student has their own cup that they can place their warm fuzzies into. Warm fuzzies can be lost if students are not following classroom rules after multiple reminders. At the end of the week students may go "shopping" with their warm fuzzies or they can save them for a bigger reward.

I also do class table points. Tables may earn points by following the rules or going above and beyond by all working together. At the end of the week, the table with the most points gets to spin the wheel of wonder and win a reward for a day.

I want all students to feel heard, respected, and recognized so I try my best to verbally acknowledge students when they are doing outstanding jobs.
