I am Mrs. Meeks. I am 39 years old, and this is my 17th year teaching. This will be my ninth year as a Mighty Eagle at Mauldin Elementary. I graduated from the University of South Carolina with a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. Go Gamecocks!

I am married to my best friend, David, and even though we have only been married for 4 years, we've been together for 14. I also have two AMAZING stepdaughters. Elly, 17, loves playing softball and basketball, and Logan, 19, will be a sophomore at USC. We have two spoiled rotten dogs at home! Duke, our old man, is a rescued Rhodesian Ridgeback and Boxer mix, and Marley, wild thing, is a 100-pound Rhodesian Ridgeback puppy!

One of my favorite titles I hold is "Aunt B" to my niece and my nephew, and I love visiting them on the weekends. When I am not at school, you can find me reading, painting, attending or watching any kind of sporting events, or going to a concert! David and I are huge concert junkies with a wide range of musical tastes. We tend to travel just for a good concert.
