I am Mrs. Meeks. I am 38 years old, and this is my 16th year teaching. This will be my eighth year as a Mighty Eagle at Mauldin Elementary. I graduated from the University of South Carolina with a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. Go Gamecocks!

I am married to my best friend David, and even though we have only been married three years, we've been together for 13 years. I also have two AMAZING step daughters. Elly, 16, loves playing softball and basketball, and Logan, 18, will be starting her freshman year at USC. We have two dogs at home who are spoiled rotten! Duke, our big baby, is a rescued Rhodesian Ridgeback and Boxer mix, and Marley, wild thing, is 90 pound Rhodesian Ridgeback puppy!

One of my favorite titles I hold is "Aunt B" to my niece and my nephew, and love visiting them on the weekends. Also on the weekends, you can find me reading, attending or watching any kind of sporting events, or going to a concert! David and I are huge concert junkies, and have a wide taste in music. We tend to travel just for a good concert. I absolutely LOVE cooking dinner, and would like to think I am an amazing chef, ha!

Hello!! My name is Miss Edwards and I am the Teacher Resident in Mrs. Meeks’ class this year! This is my first year in the classroom full time, so I am super excited to learn and grow alongside each of you in 5th grade!
In May, I graduated from Clemson University with a B.A. in Elementary Education. Go Tigers!
When I’m not at school, I love spending time with my family and friends!! I also love being in Clemson at Death Valley on a Saturday! Some of my favorite things to do is online shop, or eat Chick-fil-A! I’m so thankful for the opportunity to be part of your child’s learning journey this year!
