I'm Eric Williams and I will be teaching 7th grade social studies at Greer Middle School this year. I've spent the last 10 years at Hillcrest High School in Simpsonville teaching mostly Modern World History but have also taught U.S. History, Human Geography, AP Psychology, Sociology and Current Events. I've also taught at Northwestern High School in Rock Hill, and have held various positions at Spartanburg School District 1. I earned my bachelor's degree in secondary social studies education from University of South Carolina Upstate and an M.Ed from Converse College. My wife Kym and I have been married for 20 years and we have a 17 year old son, Caelum, who will be a junior at Dorman High School this year. We have two spoiled dogs named Arthur and Sadie whom we love very much. When I'm not teaching I enjoy collecting, playing and repairing guitars. I'm also a total video game nerd.
