This is my fourth year teaching at Bryson Middle and my 19th year teaching overall. I am excited to be teaching social studies on Team 6/7. I love creating relationships with students, finding ways to engage them with the social studies content, and building community in our school. I am married and have three kids. I received a BA in History from the University of South Carolina and completed a Masters in Teaching from USC as well. I enjoy running, reading, keeping up with my Gamecocks, and watching my kids with their various extracurricular activities. Go Bulldogs!

I am currently reading The Accidental President. This book focuses on President Truman's first four months in office. I recently enjoyed visiting Truman's home & presidential library in Independence, Missouri.
