This is my second year teaching at Bryson Middle and my 17th year teaching overall. I am excited to be teaching social studies on Team 6-1. I love creating relationships with students, finding ways to engage them with the social studies content, and building community in our school. I am married and have three kids. I received a BA in History from the University of South Carolina and completed a Masters in Teaching from USC as well. I enjoy running, reading, keeping up with my Gamecocks, and watching my kids with their various extracurricular activities. Additionally, I am the volleyball coach at Bryson Middle. Go Bulldogs!

The Accidental President by A. J. Baime
I am currently reading The Accidental President. This book focuses on President Truman's first four months in office. I enjoyed visiting Truman's home & presidential library in Independence, Missouri, this summer.
