About Mrs. Wilson

About Me...

Hi, my name is Ellen Wilson and I teach Kindergarten at ACE.

I was born and raised in Spartanburg, SC.   I graduated from Presbyterian College in 2010 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Early Childhood Education.  I also received my Masters of Education in Classroom Leadership from Southern Wesleyan University in 2019.

This is my 15th year of teaching, and my 11th year at Augusta Circle.   I taught first grade for 13 years and this will be my third year teaching Kindergarten.

My husband, Mahon, and I have two daughters.  Mary Hazael is 5 years old and Sarah is 2.  They are our pride and joy!

THESE ARE A FEW OF MY FAVORITE THINGS

Fun fact about me: My family loves fossil hunting on the beaches of South Carolina.   I've collected over one thousand sharks teeth, horse teeth, bison teeth and my Aunt Cathy has even found a wooly mammoth tooth!

Another fun fact about me:  Although I grew up in Spartanburg, I've had many family members attend Augusta Circle- including my grandmother and her siblings who attended ACE in the 1930's.
