About the Teacher

Hi there! 

I am Mrs. Tally, and this is my third year teaching 7th grade at Greer Middle.  Prior to GMS, I taught at Crestivew Elementary.  

My husband, Brian, is an engineer who travels a lot for his job.  I have three kids ages 26, 24, and 19.  My oldest, BJ, teaches at Christ Church and coaches and plays soccer.  My middle, Katy, lives in Chicago and works in psychology research at Northwestern Memorial Hospital.  My youngest, Caroline, is a sophomore at University of South Carolina, and is majoring in criminal justice/psychology.  I also have two super mutts named Molly and Coco who are the absolute sweetest dogs.  

When I am not teaching, I love reading any genre, walking my dogs, practicing yoga, and experimenting with new vegetarian recipes.
