About Mrs. Sullivan

I was born in Belarus (which was still a part of USSR at that time), so my first language is Russian, which I still speak with my parents, who live in Duncan, SC. I moved to USA in 2001 and graduated from James F. Byrnes High School in 2006. Next, I went to USC Upstate for 4 years to get my Bachelors degree in Biology, and then I went to Boston University School of Medicine for 2 years to get my Masters degree in Biomedical Forensic Science. I finally got into teaching through the PACE program in 2014.

In my personal time I enjoy doing all sorts of arts and crafts, going on short hikes, doing a variety of activities like bowling, ax throwing, etc., spending time with my animals, hanging out with family and friends, and spending time with their animals. In case you were wondering what kind of pets I have, here they are: 4 cats (Max, Monkey, Sasha, Peaches), 8 snakes (2 King Snakes: Oreo & Scooter, 5 Corn Snakes: Houdini, Coraline, Smoky, Pearl & Bobo, and 1 Ball Python named Coco-Bean), I also have 1 fish tank with a whole lot of guppies, 2 fancy sharks, and lots of snails, 1 Marbled gecko named Woody because he can change colors to blend-in with any type of tree bark, and 6+ rats (Diamond, Coco, Charlie, Skyler).

I  I look forward to meeting you all this coming school year!

Help with Biology

I am available most days for help before or after school. Let me know that you are planning on coming in early or staying after so I can plan as well.  For virtual learning, we can set up google meets and I can help you there!
