I taught at Wade Hampton from 2011-2021, and taught elementary and middle school in Walterboro and Summerton S.C. from 2005-2011. I have a bachelor's degree in Art Education from Kent State University, a Masters Degree in Divergent Learning from Columbia College, and 33 graduate hours in Studio Art.
I love everything to do with art and creative expression. I enjoy sharing my love of art with my students, and my family. I also enjoy quiet time making my own art. I work in a variety of mediums, but I most often find myself painting with oils or acrylics.
I have been married to my husband, Seth, since 2006. We started teaching together in 2005. He was the P.E. teacher at LFE from 2019-2021and is now the P.E. teacher at Hollis Elementary. We have three children, Joe, Lilly, and Sammy. Sammy is a seventh grader at League. Lilly is a Junior at Fine Arts Center and Wade Hampton High. Joe is a freshman at Clemson.
