About me

Hi families! My name is Toni Smith, and I’m thrilled to be teaching Kindergarten at Fountain Inn Elementary. I grew up in Simpsonville and earned my Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education from USC Upstate. Teaching young learners is my passion, and I feel so grateful to be doing what I love right here in the heart of this special town.

I’m a proud mom of four amazing kids: Christian (18) will be a freshman at USC this fall studying Computer Science, Kennedy (15) is a sophmore percussionist at FIHS, Matthew (10), and Mason (9) attend Fountain Inn Elementary with me, so this school truly feels like home to our family. We love being involved in the community and enjoy attending local events like the Fury Parade and the Lighting of the Christmas Tree each year.

Outside of the classroom, I enjoy cooking new recipes for my family, cheering on my kids in local sports, and attending Kingdom Life Church. I also love sipping on matcha, watching Gamecocks women’s basketball, and diving into a good science fiction story!

I’m excited for a year full of learning, laughter, and growth. I can’t wait to partner with you in helping your child SHINE in Kindergarten!
