About Mrs. slaughter

Hi, Patriots! I am excited to join the CTE Business Education Team at J.L. Mann High School! This will be my fifth year of teaching business in our school district. I am a GATE Cohort 6 completer.

Prior to teaching, I spent over 20 years across nonprofit and corporate leadership. I was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio and lived in Southern California for 12 years. I am a proud graduate of Amherst College and the University of Southern California. 

I love spending time with my wonderful family, attending tennis tournaments, reading, traveling and exploring new restaurants. Onward and upward!
