About Mrs. Sargent

Welcome to my class!  One of the things I love the most is getting to know one another so here are few things about me.   

I have been married to my high school sweetheart, James, for 24 years and I have two children.  Grace is 19 and is a junior at Anderson University. Matthew is 16 and is a junior at Blue Ridge High.  When I am not at school, you can probably find me at church, the baseball field, or shopping.  If I do find a quiet moment, I love to read and color.  If the TV is on, it is most likely some sort of crime show.  I also do love a good drama.   

I am so glad you are a part of my classroom family.  I find great joy in teaching and consider my students my adopted children.  Respect is the foundation of our classroom family and we are constantly looking for ways to encourage one another.  The goal is for teacher and student to leave feeling better than they did when they walked in the door.  I can't wait to see what this year has in store for us!
