ALOHA

This is my 28th year of teaching, with most of those years in First Grade here at Gateway. I am super excited to teach 2nd grade this year, and it will be my last. I will retire at the end of this school year. 

I went to Converse College and doubled majored in Early Childhood and Elementary Education. I have a Master's degree in Reading and Literacy from Walden University.

I am originally from the Baton Rouge, Louisiana area. I moved to SC when I was in high school, and stayed ever since. Even though I moved, I still root for LSU - Geaux Tigers.

I remarried a couple of summers ago, my husband is a bass player and a Colt’s fan. We enjoy movies, music, and working on updating our house together.
