This is my 16th year at Brushy Creek Elementary, and my 12th year in 4th grade. Previously I have taught 3rd and 5th grade here at BCES. Before coming to Brushy Creek, I taught ELA at Sevier Middle. I received my B.S. in Elementary Education from Winthrop University, and my masters in Educational Technology from Western Governors University. I grew up in the upstate of SC and can't imagine calling anywhere else home. I am married and have two daughters, Adelyn and Emery. Adelyn is 13 and in 8th grade, and Emery is 11 and in 6th grade. I love animals, and have a dog named Luna, a Husky named Leo, and 2 cats named Rocket and Miko. My hobbies include reading, photography, shopping, hiking, and playing with my girls. Teaching is my passion, and I know it is going to be an amazing school year!
