The mission of the GCS Library Media Program and the Hughes Academy Media Center is to foster a learning community that creates lifelong learners who can:

use sources
design solutions
learn independently
cultivate meaningful relationships
engage as a citizen
and pursue and develop personal interests.
Lost/Damaged Book Policy: Outstanding lost book fees, IDs, or Chromebook charges owed to Hughes Academy must be settled prior to participation in Field Day or 8th Grade Day. When a lost book is paid for, the payment is non-refundable. If the book is then found, the student can keep it or donate to the media center if they wish.
