My name is Carrie Owens, and this is my 13th year teaching elementary school! I started my career as a third grade teacher and this is my 10th year teaching kindergarten.  I grew up in Travelers Rest and attended Gateway as a child! I later attended Blue Ridge High School and The University of South Carolina. I have a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Elementary and Early Childhood Education. I reside in Travelers Rest with my husband of 12 years, Bradley, our 2 boys - Gatlin (10) & Lewis (4) and our chickens, dog, and horse! In my free time I love to spend time with my family outdoors, sports events and making crafts/decorating. I am so excited and blessed to be your child's teacher this year at Gateway! 

My name is Kim Anderson, and this is my 8th year here at Gateway Elementary! I grew up in the area and attended Travelers Rest High School before attending Greenville Technical College. I reside in Travelers Rest husband of 23 years, Gary, and our 3 children Kooper (22), Karter (20), Kali (17).  In my spare time I like to spend time with my family going to the lake and camping! I love to bake and thrift shop! I am looking forward to an awesome year with your child here at Gateway!
