My name is Lisa Moran. This is my fourth year as a reading interventionist at Pelham Road. I previously was a reading interventionist for two years at Brushy Creek Elementary, where I also taught 1st and 2nd grade for 23 years. I am also a First Year Teacher Mentor for Furman University. I received my Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Winthrop University and my Master's in Elementary Education from Furman University. I have been married to my husband Jon for 24 years. We have two daughters, Ella, who is 22, and Madison, who is 19. Ella recently graduated from Florida Gulf Coast University, and Madison is a sophomore at the College of Charleston. We also have a dog named Kacey, who is a German Shorthaired Pointer. I love helping my students develop confidence in their reading to become lifelong readers!
