My name is Lisa Moran. This is my third year as a reading interventionist at Pelham Road. I previously was a reading interventionist for two years at Brushy Creek Elementary, where I also taught 1st and 2nd grade for 23 years. I am also a First Year Teacher Mentor for Furman University. I received my Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from Winthrop University and my Master's in Elementary Education from Furman University. I have been married to my husband Jon for 23 years. We have two daughters, Ella, who is 21, and Madison, who is 18. Ella is a senior in college at Florida Gulf Coast University, and Madison is a freshman at the College of Charleston. We also have a dog named Kacey, who is a German shorthaired pointer. I love helping my students develop confidence in their reading to become life-long readers!
