About the teacher

Hi!  My name is Sydney Mitchell.  I am so excited for a great year in first grade! This is my third year teaching first grade but seventh at Ellen Woodside.  This is also my eleventh year with Greenville County Schools.  Previously I taught K5 and was a K5 and SPED aide.  I attended Clemson University and earned my masters degree from Liberty University. My husband Jiles and I have three children, Jax (8), Savvy (6) and Riggs (2). In my spare time I love exercising, cheering on my tigers and spending time with my family! I am so excited to experience first grade with your child and see them learn and grow! I believe first grade is truly the best!
