Mrs. Miller is excited for this school year!!
This is my fourth year at Blue Ridge Middle School and I love teaching and living here! I have been teaching for 16 years. I have taught Science and Math before. This year I am both Inclusion Math and ELA which I am very excited about! I love those moments when the light bulb goes off and students truly get a concept. I enjoy the small group setting environment as I feel I can truly help my students reach their potential. This will also be my second year coaching for Girls On The Run!
I received my BS from Penn State University and my Masters from Lamar University. I am originally from Philadelphia, PA but have lived in several states and countries.
I met my husband in college and we have been married 36 years this April. We have two sons, one lives in Seattle, WA and the other one in Portland, OR as they both graduated college and began their careers. We have two fur babies still at home, our rescue pups, Thor and Loki.
In my free time I enjoy gardening, reading and hiking.
