I recently earned my degree in Multi-Categorical Special Education. Prior to that, I worked as a paraprofessional in special education for 17 years—primarily in high school settings, with two of those years in elementary schools. During this time, I gained a great deal of hands-on experience in a variety of classroom environments, which has helped shape my approach to teaching today.

On a personal note, my husband and I have two adult children, who have blessed us with six amazing grandchildren. We love it when we can get everyone together. Now that we’re empty nesters, we’ve become self-proclaimed foodies and love exploring new dining experiences together. We live in the middle of the woods and enjoy the peace, quiet, and the occasional visit from local wildlife.

I am looking forward to a fantastic year in our classroom!!
