Hello, Gator families!
My name is Amanda Link, and I can't wait to get to know you and your child as we begin an exciting year in Kindergarten.
A little about me—I graduated from Anderson University with a degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education and later earned my Master's degree in Educational Technology. This is my 20th year of teaching, and I have had the joy of teaching 3rd grade, 4th grade, and Kindergarten. I have proudly been a part of the Gateway Elementary family for the past six years, and I truly love being a Gator!
I have a true passion for helping children learn through love, laughter, and meaningful experiences. I believe every child can succeed when they feel safe, encouraged, and excited to come to school each day. Kindergarten has a special place in my heart, and I love helping young learners build a strong foundation while making learning fun!
My husband, Dave, graduated from Travelers Rest High School in 2000, and I graduated from Greer High School in 2002. We have two wonderful sons—James, who is 9 and will be in 4th grade at Gateway this year, and Tripp, who is 6 and starting 1st grade. In our free time, Dave and I love cheering on our boys as they play sports, playing golf as a family, cheering on the Clemson Tigers, spending time at the beach and in the mountains, going to church, and hosting backyard BBQs.
I am looking forward to partnering with you to make this a fun, successful, and memorable year for your child. Please don't hesitate to reach out if you ever have questions or concerns. I'm excited for a fantastic year together—Go Gators!
