Meet Ms. Tais Farinha!

Hello! I’m Ms. Tais, and I’m so excited to be part of our school community! I am passionate about helping every student grow, build confidence, and discover that learning can be fun and meaningful.

I have over 10 years of experience in education and have taught students from a variety of backgrounds and learning needs. I hold two master’s degrees in education and am certified in Special Education, ML (Multilingual Learners), and Gifted Education. I love collaborating with teachers and families to ensure every child has the support they need to succeed.

Originally from Brazil, I speak English, Portuguese, and Spanish. I enjoy celebrating different cultures and helping students appreciate the unique experiences that make each of us special.

When I’m not at school, you can usually find me gardening, trying new recipes, traveling, spending time with my Golden Retriever, or planning my next adventure with my fiance, Brett. I also love coffee, organizing fun activities, and finding creative ways to make learning engaging for students.

This year, I look forward to building positive relationships with students, families, and staff. My goal is to help every child feel valued, supported, and capable of achieving great things.
