Hello! I’m Mrs. Jennifer Johnson, and I’m thrilled to be a partner in your child’s learning journey this year! This will be my 13th year teaching and my 5th year at Simpsonville Elementary School.

I graduate Lander University in 1992 with a BA in Fine Arts. After getting married and having 2 wonderful children, I spent 8 years in Clinton working as a teacher assistant. During that time, I returned to college and earned my Masters in Teaching from Converse University.

My husband and I have been married for 26 years. We have two wonderful children—our daughter is 24 and currently pursuing a Specialist degree in Psychology at Winthrop University. Our son, who is nearly 22, graduated from Greenville Technical College as a BMW Scholar with a degree in Mechatronics. He is now working at BMW.

Over the years, our family has had a variety of pets, but we currently have an adorable mixed-breed dog named Hank and three cats, Stella, Socks, and little Olden.

In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, reading, and cheering on the Clemson Tigers!

I am truly looking forward to getting to know you and your child. We are going to have a fantastic year together!
