About me

My name is Emily Howell. I married my amazing husband on October 18, 2025. We live in Easley, South Carolina, with our Pitbull Milo. This will be my 5th year at Grove Elementary. I am thrilled for this year and the opportunity to get to know your student and their family! My goal this year is to help your student become the best version of themselves and to support their growth and success in life.

Qualifications:

• I graduated in April 2021 with my Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education 

• Certification in Reading and ESL (English as a Second Language)

• I graduated in December 2025 with my Master of Education in Literacy.

I was born in Georgia, but have spent most of my life living in either New Orleans, Louisiana, or South Africa!

• My favorite color is purple.

• I LOVE an ice-cold Dr. Pepper!

• I LOVE everything about bees!

• In my free time, I enjoy shopping, crafting, and spending time with friends and family. 

Mi nombre es Emily Howell. Me casé con mi maravilloso esposo el 18 de octubre de 2025. Vivimos en Easley, Carolina del Sur, con nuestro pitbull, Milo. Este será mi quinto año en la Escuela Primaria Grove. ¡Estoy muy emocionada por este año y por la oportunidad de conocer a su hijo/a y a su familia! Mi objetivo este año es ayudar a su hijo/a a convertirse en la mejor versión de sí mismo/a y apoyar su crecimiento y éxito en la vida.

Cualificaciones:

• Me gradué en abril de 2021 con mi Licenciatura en Ciencias de la Educación Primaria con Certificación en Lectura y ESL (Inglés como Segundo Idioma)

• Me gradué en diciembre de 2025 con mi Maestría en Educación en Alfabetización.

Nací en Georgia, pero he pasado la mayor parte de mi vida viviendo en Nueva Orleans, Luisiana, o Sudáfrica.

• Mi color preferido es el morado.

• ¡Me gusta un Dr Pepper bien frío!

• ¡Me fascina todo lo que tiene que ver con las abejas!
