About Me

This is my 26th year teaching English, ELA, and English I at              Hughes Academy. I'm originally from Chicago but moved to            Greenville years ago as a result of a job opportunity for my             husband. He's retired now, but we love living in this area             where we raised our three girls. Two of them live nearby and         one lives abroad with her family in Sicily. We have six grandkids -  Kenny, Emma, Luca, Gordon, Robbie and Aidan (AJ),  who we adore and spend as much time with as we can. 

I'm looking forward to continuing your student's exploration          of literature, writing and research this year.
