Hello! My name is Meagan Hawkins!

This is my 19th year of teaching, and all of those years have been spent at Monaview!  I have taught first grade for 13 years and second grade for 6 years.  Fun Fact: I went to Monaview when I was in elementary school, too! 

I graduated from Winthrop University in 2007 (GO EAGLES!) with a Bachelor of Science degree in Early Childhood Education.  The state of South Carolina considers me highly-qualified to teach K4-3rd grades.  I have my Read to Succeed Literacy Teacher endorsement. 

My husband and I have been married for 18 years, and we have two precious sons.

I am so excited to teach your child this year. My desire is to partner with you so that, together, we can help your child learn and grow this school year in a safe, happy, and effective learning environment! Welcome to our class "family!"  :-)
