About Me
I love being a part of Blue Ridge Middle School and have been at BRMS since 2005. I have been the Instructional Coach since 2013. Before becoming the Instructional Coach, I taught seventh grade English language arts at BRMS. Prior to coming to BRMS, I taught at Gateway Elementary, Northwest Middle, and Berea Middle.

My undergrad degree in secondary English language arts is from Clemson University, and my elementary degree is from Furman University. I have a master's degree from Southern Wesleyan University in education and a master's degree from Clemson University in literacy coaching.

My husband, Scott, and I have been married since 1988, and we have two daughters, two sons in law, and two grandchildren with one on the way! We live on a little farm in Travelers Rest with two horses, two dogs, and two cats. The dogs are my "furbabies!" Sumter is a yellow lab, and Piper is a long haired dachshund.

In my spare time you will find me either outside doing something , on the road to see my granddaughter, Miriam, at church, at a Clemson football game, riding my bike or walking on the Swamp Rabbit Trail, or enjoying a day at the beach.
