My name is Lisa Hammett. I am a product of Greenville County Schools (Monaview Elementary, Monaview Middle and Parker High School.) This is my 37th year of teaching. I taught at Overbrook Child Development Center for 8 years before coming to Northwest Crescent. This is our 29th year! I graduated from Clemson University with a degree in Early Childhood in 1989 and received my Master's Degree in Special Education from Furman University in 1995. I received National Board Certification in 2001 and I recertified in 2011! I have a 32 year old son, Andrew who is a graduate of Clemson University and currently lives in Greenville. I have a 27 year old stepson, David who is a a graduate of USC-Columbia. He currently lives in Greenville. I am married to Scotty Hammett. He is a former teacher and coach at Berea High School. He is currently a substitute teacher. We have a little girl (Goldendoodle) named Chesney and a granddog named Arnold(Rotweiller) They keep us very busy!
My name is Elizabeth Angone, and I am very excited to be working with you and your child in 4K. This is my first year as an assistant but I spent 15 years as a classroom teacher. Prior to working in Greenville County CDC’s, I worked as an assistant with children with Autism for 5 years. I bounced around during my college years from Johnson City, TN to San Jose, Costa Rica, but I finally graduated from North Greenville University in 2003 with a BA in English and a minor in Spanish. In 2005, I went to Anderson University where I received Teacher Certification in Early Childhood and Elementary Education. I worked in Greenville County Schools for 5 years as an Applied Behavior Therapist with Autism Services and as a Substitute Teacher before becoming a classroom teacher.
My family moved to Greenville, SC when I was about 2 years old, and I have lived in Greenville County for the past 42 years (with the exception of various traveling experiences). I now live in a small house in the Taylors area. I have been married to my wonderful husband, TJ, for almost 20 years. We have three boys, Anthony (13), Wesley (11) and a precious newborn named Elijah. Some of my favorite things to do are play soccer, run, cook and eat, read, watch Clemson football games, work on puzzles, listen to music, and spend time with my family.
I am excited to be back in the classroom!
