All About Me

Welcome to my web site! My name is Tara Guy. I have always lived in Greenville, S.C.  I am a graduate of Winthrop University. This is my 28th year teaching in the Greenville County School District. I taught first grade for two years at Ellen Woodside Elementary.  Then I moved to Gateway Elementary where I have had the privilege of teaching second grade for two years, third grade for one year, and fourth grade for 22 years. This year I am teaching fourth grade again! I love the reward of teaching a child something new. 

         I am married to Clayton Guy.  We have two daughters named Riley and Addie Rae.  Riley is a Junior at The University of South Carolina where she's majoring in nursing, and Addie Rae is a Junior at Travelers Rest High School.  We have one dog named Levi.       

In my spare time I love to read, travel, watch movies, sing, go shopping, and hang out with my friends and family.
