My name is Anitra Graves. I am excited to to begin my fifth year as part of the Robert E. Cashion Elementary School family as a kindergarten teacher and Cashion Comet. Previously I have taught first grade and kindergarten. I look forward to helping each student reach their potential.
I have a Master of Education degree in Administration and Supervision, Bachelor of Arts degree in Early Childhood Education and an Associate of Science degree in Human Services: Early Childhood Option. I am certified to teach early childhood and elementary grade levels (Pre-K through 6th grade). Per the South Carolina Department of Education requirements, I am a highly qualified teacher. Currently, I am enrolled in the certification program for English for Speakers of Other Languages at USC Aiken.
My husband, Fred, and I have been married for 25 years. We have two adult children. In May 2024 we were blessed to become the grandparents (Gigi and Pop) to our wonderful grandson! We enjoy spending time with our family, serving at our church, watching sports and eating food that is new to us. My family and I are originally from Florence, SC. We moved to Greenville, SC in January 2015, to be closer to our church.
