About Mrs. Goin

Hey there, my name is Brittany Goin, and I am so excited to be your child's teacher for 4th grade! I am from Las Vegas but moved here in 2010 and love Simpsonville so much. I got my bachelor's degree from Western Governors University this past spring and am starting my Masters in Curriculum and Instruction this fall. This is my first-year teaching. I stayed home for 12 years with my two kids: a 2nd grader Kaleb and a 7th grader Kiley. I have a petting zoo at my home that consists of a golden retriever named Buster, a cat named Kitty, a crested gecko named Toothless, and a betta fish named Blueberry.

I am so excited to start this new adventure with your kiddos. Teaching is important to me because I want to make a difference. The students going in and out of my classroom are the future, what they learn in my classroom has the ability to shape the lives of my students and others they interact with. I want to teach my students how to enjoy learning in and out of the classroom. Once the students enjoy learning they will be able to grow and form relationships that will make a difference long after they have left my classroom. My goal is to have fun while learning and I can't wait to help your child learn all the things!
