I'm Carley Gant. I am the Literacy Specialist at Heritage Elementary School. This is my first year at Heritage, but my 21st year as an educator. 

I am originally from a small town in central New York. I graduated from the State University of New York at Potsdam with my bachelor's in history and elementary education. I also received my master's in Literacy from Potsdam. I am a highly qualified educator. I am certified in Early Childhood, Elementary Education, and ESOL K-12. My certifications are in Literacy Teacher, Literacy Coach, and Literacy Specialist. This past summer, I completed training to be a Greenville County District Reading Horizons Trainer. 

I love living in South Carolina and have been here for over 20 years. I consider TR my home. In my free time, I enjoy spending it with my family, reading, and walking on the Swamp Rabbit.
