Hello! I’m Mrs. Fleming, and I teach English at Fountain Inn High School, home of the Fury. I’m passionate about helping students grow not only as readers and writers but as thinkers and communicators. In our classroom, we explore perspectives, ask tough questions, and discover how language shapes the way we see the world and express ourselves in it.
I hold a Bachelor's degree in Secondary Education from USC Upstate and a Master's in Education from Anderson University. The 2025–2026 school year will mark my 13th year in the classroom, and I’m excited to continue learning and leading as a participant in Greenville County’s LEAD Institute throughout this school year.
I was born in Erie, Pennsylvania, and spent part of my later teen years in Wilmington, North Carolina, before my family settled here in Simpsonville. Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my family. My husband Alex and I have two wonderful boys, Eli and Grayson. We also have two dogs: a sweet Labrador named Mia, and a goofy Great Dane named Beans. We’re big fans of Disney World and love movie nights at home.
Please don’t hesitate to reach out! I’m committed to helping every student grow in confidence, in curiosity, and in their ability to express who they are through language.
