About Me

My name is Mrs. Tasha Epley, and I am looking forward to being your ELA teacher this year at Blue Ridge High School!

I grew up in a small, rural town in West Virginia. My father was a coal miner and my mother was an elementary school secretary for 30 years. After graduating high school, I lived in Washington, D.C. doing mission-related work for a year. I then moved to Tennessee and graduated from Lee University in 2006 with a Bachelor’s of Art in Secondary English Education with a K-8 additional endorsement. Afterwards, my husband and I moved to Salt Lake City, Utah and lived there for six years before moving to Greer.

We have three wonderful daughters: Izzy, Sophie, and Emmi. Some of my hobbies include traveling, hiking, reading, listening to music and spending time with my family.

This is my 17th year teaching ELA and my fifth year teaching at Blue Ridge High school. I also taught at Blue Ridge Middle school for five years.  I love the Blue Ridge community, and I love teaching and am passionate about helping students learn and grow. I am excited about a wonderful 2023-2024 school year!
