About Me

I am excited to begin my 22th year at West Greenville School.

In 1996 I received My B.A. in psychology from the University of South Carolina. Four years later I went through the Critical Needs program to become certified to teach Emotionally Disabled students. In 2003 I became Highly Qualified and certified in Elementary Education. I continue to take graduate courses and hope to one day pursue my M.A. in Education.

I have been married for 18 years to a wonderful man. We have 1 daughter, Ellyss who is 13. We also have the sweetest dogs ever. Their names are Tank and Talulah. I love spending time with my family!

When I'm not teaching, I love to be creative. Sometimes I take photos. Sometimes I paint. Sometimes I sew. I also love creating things with vinyl.

I love travelling and seeing live music. I try to combine to 2 and travel to see live music. I have travelled all over the country to see my favorite band and experience different venues in different cities. My favorite venues are Hampton Coliseum in Hampton Virginia and Shoreline Amphitheater in Mountain View California.

This year I will be teaching Employability, Art and production/merchandising. I am really excited about the possibilities for the year.

My philosophy of education is simple. All children can and will learn if given a safe and nurturing environment. It's that simple!! Give them love and they will learn.

Thank you for visiting my website.

Sincerly,

Aimee Easterling
