Homework/ Tarea
I will be sending Math homework home each Monday. The students will have until Friday to complete it at home and return it to school.
Enviaré tareas de matemáticas a casa todos los lunes. Los estudiantes tendrán hasta el viernes para completarlo en casa y devolverlo a la escuela. Anotarán la tarea en su agenda. Les pido a los padres o tutores que firmen la agenda cada lunes, así sé que han visto cuál es su asignación.
También enviaré a casa un registro de lectura que debe permanecer en su carpeta. Debe completarse todas las noches, junto con un breve resumen de lo que leyeron. Necesitan leer durante 20 minutos cada noche. En el registro, deben escribir el título del libro junto con un breve resumen de lo que leyeron esa noche. Luego, los padres o tutores pondrán sus iniciales en el formulario, después de haber hecho su lectura.

This week we will be finishing our unit on multiplying fractions and whole numbers. We will begin learning how to show the value of money in decimal and understanding where decimals are in place value.
**Students will have a test on multiplying fractions by whole numbers on Tuesday. **

Reading | Lectura
This week students will review text structures to help understand the meaning of texts. Students will complete the stations throughout the week by the end of the week, all students will have completed all stations.

This week we will be reviewing capitalization rules, prepositional phrases, homonyms, and subordinating/coordinating conjunctions.
