About Me:

• I was born and raised in the desert! I grew up in Arizona and made my way to Las Vegas to attend UNLV. I taught for the Clark County School District for 17 years (everything from 1st grade through 7th grade, general and special education). This is my 6th year in GCS, but my first at Hillcrest Middle.

• My husband, Doug, trains people to use construction equipment in his civilian job (which is what moved us to SC in 2021) and he is a member of the US Army Reserves.

• My daughter, Gail, is a 5th grader at Oakview. She is part of the AM safety patrol and school chorus.

• When we are not working and going to school, we are loving on our sweet puppy Tony at home. Whenever I get the chance, I try to go to my happy place (Disney).
