Meet Mrs. Day

Hi! My name is Kelly Day and I am so excited to be your child's teacher this year!

This is my thirteenth year teaching and I cannot wait! I graduated from Clemson University with my Bachelor's in Elementary Education with a minor in Spanish. Therefore, I am a huge college football fan and absolutely love attending Clemson football games in the fall with family and friends. Then, I decided to go straight to the College of Charleston, where I earned my Master's of Education in Science and Math for Teachers. So, for two years, I lived in Charleston and absolutely loved having so much to do and being so close to the ocean! After graduation, I moved to Easley, where I currently reside. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with family, going to church, running, reading, and relaxing!

I was married in November of 2013 to my best friend. His name is Doug Day and is in the picture above. He grew up in the area and loves to come to spend time with my students, whenever he can! I also have an amazing step-son, Patrick, who is in college. He is active, very intelligent, and loves to code. I also have a seven-year-old, beautiful daughter, Hannah. She is the sweetest child, who loves to play and read. She is in the second grade this year. We also have another daughter, Leah, who is three. She is growing too quickly and is very curious.

I have a dog named Maggie. They love playing together and chasing each other around the house!
